While I am not myself a fan “My Little Pony”, I am aware that it is a cute show with a good message for kids and that it brings happiness to a lot of people. I was therefore rather disturbed when I came across a certain very offensive and inflammatory blog post that claimed that the show was “satanic” and that it was going to steal our children and lock them in a demonic pit of rainbows and sunshine (I might be paraphrasing). That’s just not right, and I’m pleased to see the Internet community pointing out the post’s stupidity in the comments. This is yet another example of lunatics putting words into the mouth of their Jesus and using it as an excuse to hate on people who don’t deserve to be hated on, and in the process making normal, mainstream Christians look bad by association.
So to you, “James Goddard Jr” (if that is your real name and not just the pseudonym used by your Soviet handlers) I must quote what may well be the most eloquent response in your post’s comments: “FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC DEAL WITH IT”
It’s what Jesus would do.
[This post brought to you by the kind of sleep deprivation that can only come from being neck-deep in the first draft of a manuscript that’s due very soon]
