Ladies and gentlemen, behold! The Octophant!
The Octophant is a rare specimen seldom seen outside of G. D. Falksen’s brain (a terrifying place to visit, one might add). But this evening, one intrepid young artist tempted the threat of eternal madness and dared to make the unimaginable a reality.
I give you, the History of the Octophant:
9:00pm, June 19th: G. D. Falksen tweets “The Octophant. Let’s make this happen, people.” The seemingly innocent statement immediately appears on his Facebook wall.
9:10pm: Sam Perkins-Harbin comments “I can do this. It will be done.”
9:15pm: Bill Dunbar suggests that the creature G. D. Falksen dreamed up was in fact “Ganesh and Cthulhu’s secret love child- The Bringer of Insane Fortune from Between Worlds.”
10:15pm: Sam Perkins-Harbin posts a link to his illustration of what he believes an Octophant looks like.
11pm: G. D. Falksen is deeply amused and overjoyed at what can happen when one randomly tweets something.
